Stained Glass Windows is an exploration of materiality and the human experience of looking through a window. Megan Hunter prompts audience members to consider what they can view through the abstract acrylic painted perspex works. Each work references human perception and the historical beauty of stained glass windows in heritage homes and architecture.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Megan Hunter is a Melbourne-based installation and visual artist whose work explores environmental activism, particularly focusing on the ocean, waterways, and wildlife. Through textured acrylic paintings and large installations, she uses bold lines and vibrant colors to explore society's connection to the climate crisis. Constantly experimenting with materials and surfaces, Megan develops abstract images that deepen her artistic process, highlighting her commitment to raising awareness about environmental issues and the everyday human perspective of the world.
